Who is eligible?
Active, full-time and part-time employees and their immediate family members of participating companies / organizations enrolled in the ExclusiveVehicleDiscount program; this program is offered only by The Thompson Group at Classic Chevrolet. Participants must be employed for a minimum of 1 month and a resident of the United States.
Which GM vehicles are eligible?
Most new and unused Chevrolet, Hummer, Buick, GMC, and Pontiac passenger cars, SUV, van and light-duty trucks; contact us for any exceptions. Eligibility of vehicles may change at any time without notice. Program is limited to vehicles purchased primarily for participant's personal use. Pre-owned vehicles qualify when purchased primarily for participant's personal use.
What is the vehicle discount?
As an eligible participant in the ExclusiveVehicleDiscount program you can purchase new, qualifying vehicles at a special formula discounted price plus receive all applicable GM incentives and special offers. Pre-owned vehicles also qualify for special pricing.
How many vehicles am I eligible to purchase / lease?
You may purchase up to two (2) eligible vehicles per year or four (4) for your immediate family (spouse, children, and step-children).
Can I receive this discount from any GM Dealer?
No. Your vehicle discount is offered exclusively by The Thompson Group. To contact your Thompson Group Account Manager simply select Contact Us at www.thompsondiscount.com or call us at 817-410-1560.
How do I get my ExclusiveVehicleDiscount?
Visit www.thompsondiscount.com and select Get My Authorization Number. Follow the prompts, print your Authorization Number and bring it with you to the Thompson Group. Your Account Manager can also assist you with obtaining your Authorization Number.
How long is my Authorization Number valid?
Each Authorization Number is valid for six months toward the purchase or lease on an eligible new or pre-owned vehicle.
What do I need to bring when I'm ready to make a purchase?
Proof of Employment (Company ID, Insurance Card, Paystub, etc.) and Authorization Number. We recommend that you make sure you have your Driver's License and Insurance Card so you can test drive the vehicle you are interested in.
Can I combine my ExclusiveVehicleDiscount with GM rebates?
Yes. Your Thompson Group account manager will make certain you receive all qualifying rebates, incentives and special offers.
Can I order a vehicle through this program and still receive my discount?
Yes, for all eligible vehicles under this program. Ask your account manager for details.
Do I have to finance or lease through GMAC?
No. You can finance or lease through any financial institution in addition to paying cash. Credit Cards can be used toward a down payment but are not accepted for the full purchase price.
Are dealer-installed options covered by this discount?
All dealer-installed options, equipment, or services are treated as "adds" to your vehicles discounted price. A separate discount formula is used for options and equipment. See your Account Manager for details.
Can I use a trade-in with this program?
Yes.
How long do I have to keep the vehicle to qualify for the ExclusiveVehicleDiscount?
The vehicle must be retained for a minimum of six (6) months.
